Here at Newstalk ZB we’ve got a lot of messages concerned about the government controlling the media in the last week.

These concerns have often accompanied by a video of Newshub’s Tova O’Brien talking about a document dump.

Kerre McIvor spoke to Tova to confirm that the government did not pay TV3 to shelve the story.

She says it was a story from May last year, and that the Prime Minister’s office was not happy about the story being leaked to Newshub at the time.

Will Iranians Suceed This time

I’m not afraid. I’ve been dead for 47 years this is the voice of a woman in Iran who is fed up with the Islamic republic. 47 years ago, the Islamic Republic took our rights and turned a nation into hostages.
