Biden  fills his cabinet with defund the police advocates and Biden, himself, supported defunding the police just a little while ago. 

Clarke, Biden's Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights wrote 3 times in a Newsweek op ed: "We must invest less in police."

And I'm also old enough to remember when Biden replied "Yes, Absolutely" to a question about defunding the police.
